What is this reddish color dots on my tub, and i also get a red smear looking thing, i do clean, so is it rust

the dots won't come off, but i'm going to try CLR

My tub was turning red and I tried CLR, and every other expensive rust/calcium/lime cleaner out there. I finally grabbed a $1bottle of "The Works".Toilet bowl cleaner It is at Wal-Mart and every dollar store. it is soooo cheap and is the ONLY thing that works. Beware-it takes your breath away, so open a window and run!! you don't need to scrub-just pour it on and it sizzles and turns the tub white-SERIOUSLY-IT IS AMAZING!!!

Soap scum I think. It's like orangy? Then yeah, soap scum and like minerals from the water.

I use scrubbing bubbles. That seems to work.
