I am preparing for the USMLE Step 1 examination.I use the Kaplan notes to orient myself.Is there a better way?

I use the little pointer in the notes "What the USMLE expects u to know?".I want to economize and use my time for maximum benefit.Is there a better way to find what/how much the USMLE expects u to know?

Kaplan notes is a great way to study. Do Q bank too. Exams questions are very similar to Kaplan Q Bank, they don't repeat but they are very similar in complexity. Study well neuroanatomy, microbiology, and patophysiology of respiratory-cardiovascular system. Study interaction between drugs. Kaplans is great, just do all the questions for practice, if you do well on Kaplan, you are going to do well on the examination. GL
