You have to be careful with any pills that have excess amounts of caffeine. 50 lbs is alot to lose in 3 months. The first thing you should consider is your activity level. If you have a seditary lifestyle you might want to look into a diet versus diet pills. Diet pills work if you expend the amount of caffeine that you are intaking. If you don't your body doesn't use all that caffeine then it goes straight to fat storage. If you do have a seditary lifestyle i strongly recommend the South Beach Diet. If you follow it to a T you have the ability to lose about 15 -20 lbs inthe first 2 weeks. However, if you do work out; DO NOT use this diet, it can be very dangerous, because it cuts out carbs and sugars and well that what your body uses to keep your heart rate up when working out.
