We have an urgent hedgehog problem-can you help?

We have had quite a problem this year with slugs and snails due to the high rainfall we scattered pellets around our plants to protect them,we have just had rather a belated visit from a hedgehog and are worried.Will it eat the pellets and/or eat the slugs and snails that have ingested them?

yes proberly, maybe you could call the local volentry wildlife helpline, maybe they will take him in for you?

The pellets are highly poisonous to hedgehogs.
Try putting a small bowl of beer out, buried to the rim in the soil. The slugs and snails drink the beer, fall in and drown. What a way to go!
The slugs and snails are not going to poison the animal as they only eat the tiniest amount of the pellet.
