Going to a retail store to test out keyboards is a fine idea; however, the layout on a natural keyboard is slightly different than a straight keyboard. It can take some getting used to. A natural keyboard (I have used Microsoft Natural Keyboard for years now) positions you hands correctly so your wrists are kept straight. The one I use has the 2 separate groups of keys. On the straight keyboards, it is easy to use an incorrect wrist position and then you can easily end up with carpal tunnel instead. Remember, ergonomics includes more than just the right keyboard - consider the height of your desk, position of your chair, and the height/position of your monitor. Good luck.
