My friend told me, Right after her and her boyfriend have had sex and she knows that heh came in her she drinks vinegar right away and I don't thinks vinegar works, or does it.

OMG. NO vinegar does NOT work. Condoms or birth control pills, diaphragms also. Hun you should talk to your friend. Tell them to go to the health unit, or doctor, or parents to get all the information.

Get real people....all the answers above, please. Telling teens not to have sex is like saying don't blink. They are going to do it, what our responsibility is to make sure they are safe and protected as well as possible.

Your friend is full of crap, other than not having sex, there is not sure way not to get pregnant. Protection reduces the chance but is not 100%. Using protection will also help lower the risk of STDs and AIDS

Abstinance: If you're not having sex, you're not going to get pregnant! There are plenty of other things you can do without having sex.

Condoms: Name brand condoms are inexpenisve and effective in preventing pregnancy and STD's if used correctly.

The Pill: Honestly, if you're adult enough to be having sex, you're adult enough to go to a gynocologist and get on The Pill. Your best bet in preventing pregnancy is The Pill & using a condom. The Pill comes in all forms and types, so speak to your doctor about either getting on a pill form, or possibly a ring or patch form so that there's less chance of missing a dose.

Drinking vingar, douching, peeing right after sex, and all those other lovely old wive's tales ARE NOT EFFECTIVE IN PREVENTING PREGNANCY.

Drinking vinegar would NOT work. Women used to believe that douching with vinegar would work, but that is not true. Any sperm that are going to get past the cervix get there at ejaculation...so once the guy goes inside you, it is too late. Use condoms or abstain if you are trying to avoid pregnancy.

She can take the morning after pill, if she lives in an area where they will sell it to her. There are ways to force a miscarriage, but all of them are dangerous. A large amount of aspirin or ibuprofen right near conception (don't ask me how much) can cause a miscarriage. Excessive alcohol can cause one but I don't know how much of that either.

Pennyroyal tea is a well known abortifacient but can also be dangerous. Look it up in yahoo and you will see that there have been some deaths, but 2 deaths in 10 years doesn't sound bad to me.
