Are synthetic decks worth the extra cost? If so, which is the best brand to use?

i used trex,but go by appearance & $$$. then ask yourself,am i keeping this place for a long time ?
do i like to stain & seal around every 2 years ?
that should give you the answer.i would use trex again.
