Hippo. They are immensely strong and powerfull. When males are fighting they use their huge teeth (longer than a 12")and impressive bulk, its hard to imagine what a grizzly could do with his comparatively puny canines and meager body

To get it the bear would have to into the water, so I think hippo. If the bear caught it on dry land and the fight took place there, I would have to go with the bear. Hippos aren't used to being out of the water and without its bouancy, the bear would be much faster.

hippos!! did you know they kill more people than any other creature on the planet. they look so calm and sweet, but those things could pretty much swallow a human. I use to live in south africa and at the wild reserves my parents used to ask us: if you were stuck in a pond, which would you rather have in the pond: 5 alligators or 1 hippo (of course we said the 1 hippo but that would definetly get us killed) :-)
