How can the developed nations help eradicate poverty around the world?

1) Eliminate corruption that causes a barrier for aid to reach the needy. 2) Advocate that girls receive education (in many places girls are denied even a basic education!). 3) Get rid of artificial trade barriers that prohibit "poor countries" from competing in the global market (i.e. get rid of farm subsidies etc. that cause overproduction & artificially low commodity prices).

base our economy on worth rather than variables (stock market, interest rates, inflation, ect.) once poverty is irraticated here, people will generate wealth exponentially(an employee makes enough money to start a busines & employ others) we can address poverty elsewhere.

They can't, the people who rule those countries continue to steal the aid and care packages from their people and the money that is sent to help them. You have to have a sincer leadership change. Human greed will not allow that to happen so we should cut of aid and only provide it to countries who's leaders are truely trying to help their people.

Kobacker59 has the best answer. Courruption is the biggest problem also greed,these are human flaws and will never end. All each can do is try to live by GODs laws. They are absolutes in many religions around the world. Not just our own. Neocons have always had the goal to get the USA out of the UN. They want to put a stop to discussions of peace and how to end poverty. Neocons are not at all interested in what other countries have to say. Neocons want to hold all the power, by not allowing the UN to work. We have 2200-2600 nukes and still make more. We spend $500 billion/yr. on defense. While in the USA many are starving and homeless.
Education is in a shambles and public transportation is been un funded by the feds for 30 years in the USA.
