No way.

Being in the medical field, I'm over at the Health & Beauty boards a lot, and I see plenty of wrong answers that are picked as best answer. It's the blind leading the blind! I'm just hoping people check with their doctor before taking any advice.

However, I think Yahoo Answers is a good starting point. It's like having a conversation with your friends. They might give you some ideas, suggestions, or explanations that you didn't think of before, but it's up to you to research & verify if the answer is correct.

Yahoo! Answers is a site of "regular joe's" just like you and me. It's a great place to go for general advice and random questions...not so much for questions that would require expert analysis (unless you get lucky and a rocket scientist reads and answers your highly complex query). :)

usually not! of course in the particular question you reference, we'll have to wait and see. It is still open.
Unlike the validity or lack thereof as to the scientific proof of god, this one clearly does have one and only one factual answer and does not require a PHD in Physic to understand.

BTW, great answer to: what are the economic ideologies of republicans and democrats?

I believe that in some instances, possibly most instances, you are going to get accurate information. There are many people on here simply to help others out. However, there will be a handful of people that don't want to be serious and are just here to play around.

I believe each user needs to be responsible for themselves and use their own judgement. Try to prove the answers before accepting them as the truth. If you cannot confirm it in some way, than you really shouldn't trust the answer.

    Just my opinion.

Well, you have people posting their own opinions. Even those that have knowledge about a certain topic maybe wrong. Just try to get as much information as you can about your questions and used common sense to make a decision.
