What material efficiently absorbes water to protect against rainwater under doors?

I have rain water leaking under my outside doors. I have seen a product which is placed at the bottom of the door, on the inside, which absorbes many times more water than a towell. But I cannot locate it .
Any ideas?

Keep the rain water out. Do you need gutters? Grade the ground away from the house. If these are newer doors with a sill plate that has screw heads in it. The sill is adjustable. Raise it. You can also but sill plates (thresholds) at a home improvement store. Screw it down with exterior grade caulk underneath and that will prevent the water from running in.
