Can dogs take human pain killers?

Dogs and cats, as well as most other domesticated animals SHOULD NEVER take human perscription, or over the counter medication. These dosages, ect, are for a typical adult human, and are usualy WAY too high to be given to a dog/cat/domesticated animal.

Aside from that, not all human medications are compatable with the domesticated animals system.

It is never reccomended.

Yes, but it might hurt them or affect them in not so good way. Do not feed your dog HUMAN pain killers.

Maybe but i dont think it would be good for em and i wouldnt want to do that with my dog.just go to a vet or something.

yah becaus one dog we had it was very sick the vet said it was going to die then someone gave it motrin then it was well.

any medication is done by weight so if i am 145lbs i would not want to give my 80lbs lab my meds. so NO it is NOT a good idea to give a dog human meds..........

you should never ever give dogs human pain killers you can harm a dog or cat severely may even cause death if you pet exhibits any pain you need to take pet to the vet they can prescribe something design for your pet to help with pain.. I hope this helps and please do not give them painpills..
