About me: I'm a Golden Retriever and my life is just grand! My name means "energetic" in Japanese and I know all my commands in Japanese because my "dad" used to live there.

My best trick is that I can bow-- I stretch out my front paws while keeping my rear-end up in the air. Of course, I do this only to the command given in Japanese so if you say "bow" in any other language I'll just ignore you ;-)

I live in San Jose, California and I'm 6 years old now. Basically I lounge around a lot waiting to have fun playing with my dad. He'll do *anything* for me -- I've really got him wrapped around my finger! In fact, his wife is jealous of our relationship! She is trying to get on my good side but she is more of cat person and I just can't fully accept anyone like that :-)

Dad is a real estate broker and he takes me to work with him, we visit homes together, etc. I do my best to help by sniffing the bushes and generally giving everything a "once over."
