About me: I am fifty years old, twice married and once divorced. I've had my first husband walk out on me when my baby was four months old, so I understand about being cheated on, and the divorce system. I know how hard being a single parent is, the battles trying to get child support, an uncaring father to show support to his sons, etc etc.
I married again and have been so, happily, for twenty years. I was a stay at home mother for most of those twenty years and now work, part time, as an assistant to a woman boss.
I've been caught up in a fundamental religion where women were expected to be subservient, lived with an alcoholic father, and a religious nut for a mother. My mother was a "traditional" wife. I am not.
I have four children, two sons, two daughters. I have been through the education system four times, been active in school life. My sons are dyslexic. I am a strict, but loving parent.
Okay? This is for all those who doubt me and accuse me of telling porkies.
