About me:
Since joining Nintendo in 1977, I have helped create many video games, such as Super Mario Bros., Donkey Kong and many Zelda titles. I have worked on more than 100 video games and created one of the most familiar video game characters of all time: Mario! Recently, my work has included Nintendogs for Nintendo DS and the upcoming Super Mario Galaxy for Wii. I even did design work for the new Wii system. Hopefully you have had a chance to play it.
My love for creating video games has led to some pretty interesting life events, such as being honored as the first inductee in to the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences Hall of Fame in 1998 and as an inaugural inductee (along with Mario) into the Walk of Game in San Francisco in 2005. I was even knighted into France’s Order of Arts and Letters!
