I am a retired independent insurance agency owner. My specialty was commercial insurance.
What amazes me about insurance is that people are willing to purchase it without a thorough understanding of what is and what is not covered. This is escpecially true of many who buy from an internet site. The counsel that I give everyone is to talk to an insurance agent. Ask questions before you buy. It doesn't cost you anything and the knowledge and insight that you gain is invaluable.
I will try to answer questions that either have not been answered by another party or that the answers given did not cover a detail that I think is important. I won't answer questions that, in my opinion, have already been answered with sufficient detail.
