Our baby is due in 12 weeks and we have 1 dog we don&#039;t worry about at all and another one that we feel could be a potential threat.<br /> <br />this dog is jealous by nature.   He doesn&#039;t adjust to change well.    Infact when we brought our younger dog in, he was thrilled to play with her at first but then after a few days he took on this whole &quot;Aren&#039;t you leaving soon, you&#039;ve worn out your welcome&quot; attitude.    He eventually after a few months adjusted to her, and she put him in his place eventually.  He is not the dominent dog of the two.<br /><br />Anyways he has always been good with kids in the family, he has never acted out or mean or anything to anyone in the family.   He met my sisters who are still children about a year ago that don&#039;t live close by and he played with them fine.    He is slightly jealous when someone or something else has mommys attention though but I think we have curbed that.<br /><br />He is territorial and likes to bark at people on the street, he doesn&#039;t like strangers getting into his face and petting him, someone almost did get bit for that.  But we told them to leave him alone and they reached down anyway and he started growling.    But never toward familly and friends and people in his home.<br /><br />I&#039;m scared that he isn&#039;t going to adjust too well to the baby but we are going to work hard to make it work and they will never be left alone together or out of my sight.    If I can&#039;t watch him he will be crated.<br /><br /><br />The other issue, he has started peeing and pooping on the floor again.   We finally get him potty trained and he go backwards.     WE can&#039;t have our daughter playing on the floor where he has decided to go to the bathroom.   No matter how much we clean it I just don&#039;t feel its sanitary.   I have never had so much trouble getting a dog potty trained and keeping him potty trained.   Any tips for that.   We always go back to basics with him but have a hard time holding his bowels as it is (medical condition).   he never pees inside just poops. Again I understand he has a medical condition that make it hard to hold his bowels but he can&#039;t just drop a load any place he feels like it.<br /><br />What are your suggestions for both issues.
